AI integrated into your ERP. Not running next to it.
Capturing documents, checking BOMs, querying data: TimeLine now handles routine work itself. On request, entirely on your own infrastructure in Germany.
Reviewing BOMs.
Retyping documents.
Hunting down data.
Every day, hours go into work that requires no expertise — just patience. It slows down day-to-day business and ties up exactly the people you need elsewhere. We want your team to be truly productive.
From now on, TimeLine takes over.
AI is our development focus.
Alongside the new TimeLine web modules, integrating AI into the current version 16 is our top priority and development focus. A clear roadmap for the current and the upcoming TimeLine ERP version forms the foundation of our standard development — for the ERP system as well as our development tools.
Automatic document processing
An e-mail comes in, TimeLine reads the PDF and turns it into a finished record: incoming invoice, sales order, inquiry. No retyping, no reformatting. What used to take minutes per document now happens in the background.
The TimeLine Assistant: asking instead of querying
“How much revenue did we make from cast parts last quarter?” The TimeLine Assistant translates plain language into database queries and delivers the answer directly. Analyses that used to require SQL skills are now available to everyone, in plain language.
Agentic ERP: giving tasks instead of just asking questions
The next step: the TimeLine Assistant no longer just answers questions — it gets things done. “Create an invoice with these three items”, “post the goods receipt to warehouse 2.” You describe what should happen. TimeLine carries it out.
AI-driven goods receipt via photo recognition
Take a photo of the goods and TimeLine recognises what has been delivered and posts the goods receipt. Developed primarily for electronics manufacturing, where hundreds of items arrive every day.
The Assistant in every module. And your reports by prompt.
Over time, we’ll roll out the TimeLine Assistant across all modules. TimeLine-Developer, dashboards and reports will become prompt-driven too: custom analyses and BI reports will then be created by description instead of configuration.
One platform. AI at every level.
All of your company’s processes have always come together in TimeLine: every order, every posting, every BOM. With AI, working with them becomes effortless: answers on demand, routine work handled automatically. ERP used to be a tool. Now it becomes a colleague.

Dashboards & Reports

BOM clearing in minutes.
For electronics manufacturers in particular, routine tasks slow down procurement. AI takes over the analysis of Excel BOMs, identifies manufacturer part numbers and creates matching procurement and sourcing scenarios.
Price comparisons and availability are evaluated automatically. What used to take several hours can now be completed within a few minutes.
Document capture on autopilot.
Incoming documents are processed automatically: invoices, customer inquiries, orders and supplier quotations are taken straight from e-mails, analysed and routed into the right process.
Every number in your company.
One question away.
Every order, every posting, every KPI of your company is already in TimeLine. Until now, it took reports, analyses or SQL skills to access them. Now a question in plain language is enough: the TimeLine Assistant understands it, generates the matching database query and delivers the answer in seconds.
Processing can run either on cloud models or on locally hosted AI. The feature set is being expanded continuously and will be extended to additional data domains. In the future, the Assistant will also carry out tasks directly in TimeLine for you.
Your LLM. Your choice.
What matters most about all of TimeLine’s AI features: the choice of LLM is yours. You decide where your data is processed — not us.
Public models
Whether you want to use a public model such as Claude is entirely your decision — with the full power of today’s frontier models.
Hosted in Solingen
Alternatively, use the TimeLine model Hosted in Solingen. Your data never leaves our infrastructure in Germany — and the local LLMs are free to use during the trial phase until the end of the year.
On-premise coming soon
Soon you will also be able to host the LLMs on-premise — on your own servers. Maximum control, maximum sovereignty.
Cloud or local — per use case.
Processing can run either on cloud models or on locally hosted AI — with the TimeLine Assistant, for example. That way you choose the deployment option that matches your data-protection and performance requirements for every single use case.

Our stance. Our values.
Our principle.
We don’t believe in technology for technology’s sake. An AI feature that doesn’t give anyone time back is not innovation to us. It’s decoration.
That’s why every development at our company starts with the same question: where does a manufacturing business lose hours today that it will need for more important things tomorrow? Only once we can answer that question do we write the first line of code. That’s slower than slapping an AI label on the website. But it’s the only way we consider honest.
Because we know what that reclaimed time is for. Mid-sized businesses run on people who think products through, listen to customers and want to make things better. Every hour these people spend retyping, reconciling and searching is an hour lost where it matters most. AI should carry the routine so minds are free for what no machine can do.
We know this ambition from our own experience. For more than thirty years, we have held our own as a mid-sized software company against corporations with a thousand times our budget. Not with more resources — with better decisions, short decision paths and closeness to our customers. That is exactly the strength we want to defend with our software, for ourselves and for every company that works with it.
This is our principle: technology should give people time back. Not the other way around.
